Sbj's Economic Impact Awards
Pearson-Kelly Technology was named a Springfield Business Journal‘s 2021 Economic Impact Award Finalist. This award recognizes businesses and leaders across the Springfield community who have made substantial contributions to the growth of our economy. Finalists were evaluated and chosen by an independent panel of judges.
Economic Impact honors are broken down into five categories based on the business's years in operation. All finalists had to prove an economic contribution to our community by detailing:
- How their own business has changed since its inception
- How they’ve shaped our local economy
- How they give back to our community
- Changes in employee benefits or compensations.
This year, the panel also wanted to know how each nominee was affected by the COVID-19 pandemic and how they responded.

We are proud to be one of Springfield Business Journal’s Economic Impact Award Finalists. 2020 was a rough year for many businesses in our community. To be recognized for our impact on this community, especially coming off the pandemic, is an honor we do not take for granted.
