We're Top 20 Best Places to Work in 417
Pearson-Kelly Technology was named one of the 2021 Biz 417’s Best Places to Work! This award aims to identify, recognize, and honor the best places of employment in southwest Missouri, benefiting the region’s economy, workforce, and businesses. Winners were evaluated and chosen by third-party partner Best Companies Group, which managed the overall registration and survey process.
At the inaugural Best Places to Work Awards Ceremony on September 8, 2021, Biz 417 Magazine counted down the top 20 employers in our community. With more than 40 companies applying for the honor, Pearson-Kelly Technology is proud to rank 5th in Southwest Missouri and take home the Best Team Spirit Award!
Making the list itself is humbling; ranking 5th in our community felt great. But the real prize for us is getting to work at PKT daily. It’s a special place, and we have some incredible employees. It’s exciting to see them honored for their work publicly.

About the Best Places to Work Contest
Companies across the region entered the two-part process to determine Biz 417’s Best Places to Work. The first part evaluated each nominated company’s workplace policies, practices, and demographics. This part of the process was worth approximately 25% of the total evaluation. The second part consisted of an employee survey to measure the employee experience. This part of the process was worth approximately 75% of the total evaluation. The combined scores determined the top companies and the final ranking.
It’s great to see our team get rewarded for all of their hard work over the years. This award just proves to all of them what I already knew… that we work with some of the best people around!
